After several months of investigation, narcotics detectives with the Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department arrested a suspect for drug-related charges, however more arrests will be forthcoming.
On the morning of Jan. 25, narcotic detectives arrested 49-year-old Crystal Dennine Howard of 3194 Jackson Landing Road, Sheriff David Allison said.
She was charged with the sale of a controlled substance and conspiracy to sell a controlled substance, Allison said. The alleged sale of crystal methamphetamine by Howard took place at 116 Luther Davis Road in Picayune, the sheriff said.
“She will also be facing additional charges, which will be presented to a grand jury later,” Allison said. “Several other subjects are also involved in this investigation and other arrests will be coming in the future.”
