Margaret Carmen Brobst

Margaret Carmen Brobst of Denton, MD formally of Picayune, MS passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Homestead Manor in Denton, MD. She was 88.
Born on September 3, 1927 in Montoursville, PA, the daughter of the late Robert and Helen Miller. She grew up in the Montoursville, PA and graduated from Montoursville High School.
Carmen was a volunteer at Crosby Hospital Gift Shop, participated in Perseus Mardi Gras Krewe, a member of the Garden Club and a choir member of the Trinity Methodist Church in Picayune, MS. She loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her sons Donald G. Brobst, Jr., of Falls Church, VA; Wayne R. Brobst (Deborah) of Easton, MD; David K. Brobst (Melody) of Jupiter, FL; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Donald G. Brobst.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 26, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home, P.A. in Chester, MD. Burial will be in Montoursville Cemetery in Montoursville, PA Monday, December 28, 2015.
