A Kiln man died in a motorcycle accident Sunday after he crossed the centerline of Highway 603 and collided with a pickup truck, Mississippi Highway Patrol Spokesman Cpl. Benjamin Seibert said.

The crash occurred around 9 p.m. on Highway 603 near Shiyou Road in Hancock County. The motorcycle, driven by 57-year-old Joseph Busby, was heading northbound on Highway 603 when it collided with a 1978 Ford F-100. Busby was pronounced dead at the scene. The three occupants of the pickup truck were transported to Hancock Medical Center with minor injuries, Seibert said.

Investigators can’t confirm if the crash was caused by high speed, alcohol or other impairments. The cause of the wreck remains under investigation, Seibert said.
