Funeral services for Mary Alice Penton, age 88, of  Picayune, MS, who passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2015, will be held Saturday, September 19, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 19, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at McDonald Funeral Home.
Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Dr. David Brown will officiate the service.
A native of Picayune, MS, she was a nurse and a member of Roseland Park Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Dallas Penton; parents, Coa C. Evans and Myrtle McGehee Evans; granddaughter, Danika Penton Woodard.
Survivors include her daughter, Trish Penton; son, James Dallas Penton and wife Peggy; grandchildren, Colbey Sparkman and husband Larry, Evan Penton; great grandchildren, Lauryn Woodard, Madison Woodard, Emori Sparkman, Aubri Sparkman, Kennedi Sparkman, and Ory Sparkman; great great grandchild, Koa Magee.
