Maritza Pena Becerra

Funeral Services for Maritza Pena Becerra, age 68, of  Carriere, MS, who passed away Friday, August 14, 2015, will be held Tuesday, August 18, 2015, at 7:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 18, 2015 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home.

Rev. David Meeks will officiate the service.

A native of Tegucigalpa, Honduras, she was a Salesperson and a member of World Outreach Church. Maritza was a strong person and was greatly loved by all of her family. She was a great mother, wife, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend. She will be missed, but her family knows she is in the arms of her Savior and with her loved ones who have gone on before her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marco T. Becerra Sr., parents, Aurelio Pena and Isabel Fernandez Pena; sister, AnnaMaria Pena.

Survivors include her sons, Marco Becerra Jr. and wife Angele’, Miguel Becerra and wife Kristi, Jose’ Becerra and wife Laura; daughters, Marina Paris and husband Steven, Maritza Hellmers; grandchildren, Marco III and wife Halie, Stefan, Victoria, Meghan, Breanna, Jordyn, Brady, Jacob, Dylan, Devin, Alexa, Maci, Hilton, Madison, Robert IV, Alyssa, Michaela, and Caitlyn; great grandchildren, Anna Grace Joshua, and Case Jr.; brother, Aurelio Pena and wife Iris; sisters, Xiomira Pena,  Isabel Amari, Olimpia Alvarez and husband Cesar.
