Funeral Services for Bettye Ann Mabie, age 86 of Picayune, MS, who passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2015, will be held Friday, July 17, 2015, at 12:00 pmat McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation will be Friday, July 17, 2015 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home.
Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Rev. R.T. Buckley will officiate the service.
A native of Piave, MS, she was a retired sales lady at T.G.&Y. Bettye was a member of First Baptist Church of Picayune, and the Truthseekers SundaySchool Class.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Orange Clifton Furr, and Alma Grace Whitman Furr; her husband, Albert Monroe Mabie; and her granddaughter, Regina Lynn Mabie.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Barbara Ann (Ronald) Jones, and Michael Don (Vanessa) Mabie; 6 grandchildren, Kerry Cortez, Jonathan Jones, Chris (Anna) Mabie, Amber (Amos) Nix, Staff Sgt. Charles Jones (Glenda Shadrick), and Ryan (Allison) Stockstill; 8 great grandchildren, Bryce, Ethan, Jesse, Madison, Tera, Levi, Emery, and Chord; and her sister, Barbara Furr.
