Rush said he competed against ten of the fastest Domino’s pizza makers from Mississippi and Louisiana.

During the competition, Rush said he made three large pizzas, including a mushroom, pepperoni and cheese in 55 seconds, beating his competition.

He was crowned the fastest pizza maker and awarded a check for $1,000.

However, this isn’t Rush’s first time winning the coveted title.

Since 2008, he’s competed in and won several fastest pizza maker competitions.

In the past, he held a record in the Guinness World Records for making 142 pizzas in an hour.

When asked what drives him to be the best pizza maker, Rush said, “I make pizzas every day and I just have a passion to be the best at it.”

Next year, he plans to compete in Domino’s World’s Fastest Pizza Maker Competition in Las Vegas, Nev.

In order to qualify, Rush has to compete in another Fastest Pizza Maker Competition in Gulfport.

“I sometimes get nervous before a competition, but I love doing this,” Rush said.
