The victim of a burglary that involved the theft of tens of thousands of dollars worth of property is offering a reward for information that would lead to the arrest of the suspect or suspects.
Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department Chief Deputy Shane Tucker said the theft was reported on July 18, and took place at a home on McSween Road in the Pine Grove community.
The victim reported that a large amount of jewelry and guns were stolen from the home, and a $500 reward is being offered by the victim for information leading to the arrest of those responsible, Tucker said.
According to a Facebook post by the department, it is suspected that at least two suspects are responsible for the theft of up to $65,000 worth of expensive jewelry, cash and firearms.
