Robert Lee Ceaser Sr

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in New Hebron Baptist Church for Robert Lee Ceaser Sr., 66 of Oakland, Ca.  The Rev. Donald L. Parker will officiate and Rev. K. Martin Thomas is Pastor.

Robert Lee was born on February 19, 1948 in Carriere, Miss. to Jack Madison and Curtistine Robinson Ceaser, Sr.  He accepted Christ an early age and was a member of New Hebron Baptist Church. He retired from Sherman Williams Paint Company after 33 years of service.  Robert was known to many of his friends as ” Bo Diddle”, and was an avid San Francisco 49ers fan, building model cars and riding his motorcycle.

The Lord carried Robert to his heavenly journey on Wednesday, April 16, 2014.

Preceded in death by his parents, Jack Madison and Curtistine Robinson Ceaser, Sr.; one daughter, Valarie Victoria Ceaser.

He leaves to celebrate his life and cherish his memories, a loving and devoted wife of 46 years, Rosemary Ceaser; two  sons, Ralph Ceaser and Robert Lee Ceaser Jr. both of Oakland; one brother, Jack Madison (Tina)  Ceaser Jr. of Carriere;  three sisters, Rosie Lee (J.C.) Tribbett  of Memphis, Tenn., Ella Mae (Rick) Hammrick of Portland, Ore. and  Mammie Lois (Mickey) Gaddis of Vancouver, Wa.; one goddaughter, Keara Horn of Oakland; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the church.  Interment will in the Carriere Community Cemetery.
