Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, May 22, 2011 at White Funeral Home, Poplarville, for Warren E. Jones, 74, of Poplarville, who passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2011 in Canon Hospice, Gulfport, Miss. The Rev. Charles Rester and the Rev. Bill Davidson will officiate at the service. Burial will follow in the Sones Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.

A native of Poplarville, he was born September 24, 1936 to Sam and Olivia Wheat Jones. He was a retired truck driver and attended Sanctuary of Praise and Whitesand Apostolic Faith Church.

His parents preceded him in death.

Survivors include: one son, Randy Jones of Picayune; two daughters, Lisa Jones of Picayune, and Diane Jones of Bogalusa, La.; three sisters, Barbara L. Parker of Biloxi, Nettie Jones of Hattiesburg, and Darlene Barras of Morgan City, La.; and several grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Saturday, May 21, 2011, 6-9 p.m. at White Funeral Home in Poplarville.
