Gulfport police arrested a 23-year-old man almost immediately after they say he robbed a drug store at knifepoint.

Police Chief Alan Weatherford said Linden C. Rudisill of Gulfport was charged with armed robbery on Saturday.

Weatherford said officers took Rudisill into custody shortly after he exited the store.

Witnesses told police Rudisill entered the store, produced a knife and demanded narcotics.

He was taken to Harrison County jail. Bond was set at $100,000 by Justice Court Judge Diane Ladner.

It was not immediately known whether Flannigan has an attorney.
