PRC, Polarville face off

Poplarville and Pearl River Central renew a county rivalry on the hardwood tonight in Carriere.
The games pitting the Blue Devils against the Hornets and the Lady Hornets against the Lady Devils will be the begining of a home and home sereis between the schools over the next week, as the same teams will get together next week in Poplarville.
Also, Picayune hosts St. Martin tonight in both boys and girls action.
The Lady Tide is coming off a big 59-24 win over East Central Friday night. Picayune is now 8-2 under first year head coach Jason Kennedy.
The Lady Tide jumped out to a 24-3 lead after the first quarter and never looked back.
Andrea Jackson and Arriana McGill paced Picayune with 16 points apiece, while Melody McGill added 11 and Tee Myers 10 to the winning cause.
All six local teams will compete in the annual Picayune Holiday Tournament that takes place in two weeks.
