Police say a man who had painted his face and hands black to disguise his appearance was charged with burglary after being spotted climbing out of a Philadelphia pharmacy window with a bag of pharmaceuticals.
The Neshoba Democrat reports 34-year-old Phillip J. Sanders was charged last week with the burglary at Hospital Discount Pharmacy.
Police Chief Dickie Sistrunk was in the vicinity of the pharmacy in an unmarked vehicle when officers were initially dispatched to a breaking and entering in process.
Officers chased Sanders on foot until the police chief was able to get in front of him with his vehicle so he could be taken into custody.
Sistruck sand the drugs were recovered.
