Edna Sims Gandy, 100, of Kiln, Miss., passed away Friday, April 19, 2013.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, April 28, 2013 at 3 p.m. at New Fellowship Church in Hickory, Miss., with Bro. Phillip Gandy officiating.

Mrs. Gandy was a Homemaker and a member of Enterprise Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, John and Ella Forman Sims; husband, John W. Gandy; and grandson, Charles Gandy.

She is survived by: her son, John L. Gandy of Enterprise; sisters, Tressie Courtney of Bassfield and Elizabeth Hollingsworth of Newton; grandchildren, John Gandy, Diana Bently and Jennifer Harvey; and great-grandchildren, Anna Bently, Preston Harvey and Maggie Bently.
