Residents of The Pines held their first judged Chili Cook-off on Saturday, April 14th. Shown above from left are: Maureen Slaven— Honorable Mention; Roseland Hodges— Honorable Mention; Jenny Jarrell— 3rd Place; Brenda Parker— 2nd Place; Karen Barton— 1st Place and Picayune Mayor Ed Pinero who was one of three judges for the event. Next month the residents plan on holding a judged pie contest.
