Memorial services are at 10 a.m. at New Palestine Cemetery for Charles Joseph Waddell, 53, of Picayune, who died Friday, Sept. 22, 2006.

The Rev. Allen Hickman officiates at the service. Arrangements are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

A native of New Orleans, he was a carpenter.

Survivors include a daughter, Karen Babe Waddell of Picayune; a sister, Brenda Sue Vice of Carriere, and two brothers, Louis Waddell of Carriere and Forrest William Waddell, Jr., of Mamou, La.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Amanda Brianna Waddell.
