Inmate Thomas Lamar Johnson has been recaptured after failing to return from a three-day pass from the coastal Jackson County Community Work Center, according to the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
Johnson, 26, was in Isola during the three-day break. He did not return to the work center on Monday.
He was arrested without incident Tuesday in the city of Jackson and was taken to the Central Mississippi Correctional Facility in Pearl.
Johnson was serving a six-year sentence for nonresidential burglary and vehicle theft in Humphreys County.
