Alodie Elizabeth Lewis, 68, of Carriere passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at Highland Community Hospital.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, June 6 at 12:30 p.m. at 1179 Henleyfield-McNeill Road in Carriere.

Mrs. Lewis, a native of New Orleans, La., was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Peter G. Lewis, III; brother, Patrick Pregeant; father, Frank Cohn and mother, Catherine Lawler Cohn Pregeant.

She is survived by: her son, Michael V. Lewis of Picayune; daughter, Heather L. Penton of Picayune; brother, Hallet Pregeant; three sisters, Nyiece Owens of Arkansas, Ida Rebecca Spiers of Texas and Cathy Crooke of Biloxi; and two grandchildren, Timothy James L. “T.J.” Penton and Cordell Chad “Cory” Penton.
