Gov. Haley Barbour and the Mississippi Development Authority will hold a China trade forum in Jackson on May 21.
The U.S.-China Chamber of Commerce and the Changzhou Municipal Government will co-host the conference at the Jackson Convention Complex.
Barbour says the forum will provide Mississippi business representatives the opportunity to meet and network with executives and political leaders from Changzhou, China, who will be visiting the state to explore investment and trade opportunities.
Barbour says the delegation will include representatives from aviation, automotive, telecommunications, biotechnology and energy industries.
Barbour will speak along with Siva Yam, president of the U.S.-China Chamber of Commerce and Pan Dongling, director of the Changzhou Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Bureau.
