A Hancock County man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison after pleading guilty to the 2007 slaying of his wife.
David James Spiers pleaded guilty to manslaughter Tuesday in circuit court. He had initially been charged with murder.
Prosecutors say Audra Spiers was shot to death on Oct. 30, 2007, after the two argued at their home in North Hancock County.
