Volunteers and community members are being sought to participate by giving their time or suggestions for the upcoming clean-up campaign.

A meeting is at 6 p.m. today in the Picayune city council chambers. Clean-up coordinator Daryl Smith is seeking volunteers.

Smith said he wants people to share their thoughts on the clean-up and take the effort from there. He said he is also looking to increase participation in the clean-up campaign.

Thursday’s meeting is in preparation for the Great American Clean-up campaign to be held on March 14, Smith said.
