Fall Muster back at Beauvoir

Fall Muster at Beauvoir will attract about 300 Union and Confederate re-enactors this weekend.
The Muster allows the public to watch infantry, artillery and medical demonstrations, a tintype photographer and antebellum camp life.
This year’s Beauvoir Fall Muster is the first to be on the Biloxi museum estate of Jefferson Davis since Hurricane Katrina in 2005 destroyed all but the 1850s Beauvoir House.
The Muster will be held Saturday and Sunday.
This year’s scenario is from the Battle of New Hope Church in Atlanta.
Re-enactors will come from Virginia, Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi and Florida.
