Services are at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 20, at White Funeral Home for Marvin E. Lee, 86, of Poplarville, who died Monday, Dec. 18, 2006.

Bros. Joe Beach and Roland McMillan officiate at the service. Burial is in Pleasant Home Cemetery in Purvis under the direction of White Funeral Home of Lumberton.

A native of Pearl River County, he was a retired logger and a member of Olive Branch Baptist Church in Lumberton.

Survivors include his wife, Octavia Jones Lee of Poplarville; a son, James J. Lee of Poplarville; three daughters, Patricia Walters and Marlene Anderson-Cole, both of Poplarville, and Cathi Short of Pearlington; a sister, Marjorie Allen of Lumberton; seven grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was 6-10 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 19, at the funeral home.
