Memorial services are at a later date for Florence S. Lawrence, 74, of Picayune, who died Sunday, Dec. 3, 2006, in Slidell, La.

Arrangements are under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.

A native of Rochester, N.Y., she was a Picayune school district cafeteria worker.

Survivors include five sons, John Lawrence of Houston, Texas, Stanley Lawrence of Nicholson, Kirt Lawrence of Carriere, Michael Ratcliffe and Norman Ratcliffe, both of Picayune; seven daughters, JoAnn Brumley, Joyce Peshek, Marilyn Adams and Cindy Wadel, all of Picayune, Lynn Lawrence of Carriere, Margaret Lee of McNeill and Carol Gonzales of Poplarville; two brothers, Joseph Smith of Florida and Richard Bushman of California; two sisters, Marlene Ertel of Marion, N.Y., and Elizabeth Noyes of Rochester; 31 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
