— Request from Tammy Spires to have a blues festival 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, at Snyder Park.

— Request by Miss. Senior America program to advertise resources of the city for $200.

Consider request to continue state of emergency due to Hurricane Katrina.

Consider new business:

— Advertise CDBG combined notice for the construction of a 12,000 square-foot fire station.

— Advertise CDBG statement of findings and public explanation for floodplain management for the construction of the fire station.

— Request to develop a five-year paving plan.

Consider planning and zoning:

— Acknowledge that public hearing on Grand Oak Apts. was held May 8 and place public comments and concerns into minutes for a proposed 136-unit apartment complex on South Haugh.

— Request from Vivian Burch Martin Trust to rezone from R-2 to C-3 parcel #6171110010500100 and parcel #6171110010500500m both on Miss. 43 North.

— Grant agreement of $284,287 with the Federal Aviation Administration to construct helipads, automobile parking area, improve drainage and update layout for the Picayune Municipal Airport and low bid by Kanduit Construction to do the work.

— Application to the Miss. Office of Highway Safety Division of Public Safety for a Safe Communities grant program with a 50 percent match.

— Grant offer from Miss. Dept. of Transportation for multi-modal funds to construct T-hangers at the Picayune Municipal Airport.

— Amend personnel policies and procedures under Section 2.02(g), Hours of Work and Overtime.

— Advertise for bids for emergency work, debris removal in the aftermath of a possible storm/hurricane during the ’07 hurricane season.

— Transportation report.

— Accept $2,975 donation to the Picayune Police Dept. youth programs.
