Stennis Space Center will be closed Tuesday in honor of the late President Gerald Ford.

The closing is in observance of the executive order issued Thursday by President George W. Bush. The order calls for all government agencies to be closed Tuesday to show respect for the 38th president who died Tuesday, Dec. 26.

Normal center operations will resume Wednesday.
