Services are at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 24, at Lee’s Chapel #2 Baptist Church for James William (Bill) Palmer, 48, of the Leetown Community, who died Friday, Oct. 20, 2006.

The Rev. James Reeves officiates at the service, assisted by the Revs. Rico Lee and A.W. Kirkland. Burial is in Lee’s Chapel #2 Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

A native of Picayune, he was a warehouse manager and a member of Lee’s Chapel #2 Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Ann Palmer, his father, Dewayne Palmer, his step-mother, Ceicle Palmer, all of the Leetown Community; a step-daughter, Ashley Nguyen and a step-son, Glenn Mason, both of Picayune; two sisters, Donette Lee of Kiln and Susan Daughdrill of Salem Community; a brother, Richie Palmer of Leetown Community, and two grandchildren.

Visitation is 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 24, at the church.
