Services are 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 31, at White Funeral Home for Lorena O’Quinn, 84, of Poplarville, who died Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2006, at Wesley Medical Center in Hattiesburg.

Bro. Tommy Herrin officiates at the service. Burial is in Forest Lawn Cemetery under the direction of White Funeral Home.

A native of Laurel, she was retired from Pearl River Junior College as an events coordinator and was a member of Gumpond Jesus Name Holiness Church.

Survivors include a son, Charles O’Quinn of Poplarville; a daughter, Jackie O’Quinn of Poplarville; a sister, Leta Ashe of Poplarville; 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by son, George Edward O’Quinn.

Visitation 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 30, at the funeral home.
