2015 Distinguished Young Woman

The 2015 Distinguished Young Woman contest was held at the Picayune High School Auditorium on Saturday, Feb. 22. Anna Faith Breeland took home the title and will represent the county for 2015.
Distinguished Young Woman sponsor Nancy Hall said that judging for this year was the toughest year the judges have faced, but they certainly reached the correct conclusion and all of the contestants were extremely talented.
The categories and winners were as follows:
Spirit Winner: Emily Johnson
Be Your Best Self Essay Winner: Laine Walker
Scholastic: Madden Stockstill
Interview: Alyssa Fuller
Self Expression: Alyssa Fuller
Talent: Emily Johnson
Fitness: Abby Unbehagan
2nd Runner-up: Alyssa Fuller
1st Runner-up: Abby Unbehagan
2015 Pearl River County’s Distinguished Young Woman: Anna Faith Breeland
Breeland will now advance to state competition, at Distinguished Young Women of Mississippi. The state winner will then compete in the annual National Finals competition.
