The PRCHS Blue Maskers recently attended the Mississippi Theatre Association’s State Festival in Vicksburg.

The team took home several awards in the Secondary Division of the Youth Theatre Festival, including Best Production; Best Actress, Abby Smith; and they earned two All-Star cast awards for the work of Adrianna Aponte and Justin Boone.

In the Secondary Festival, the team earned Best Ensemble; Best Director, Ginger Schmidt; Best Supporting Actress, Brittany Ollie’; and Best Supporting Actor, Jeffery Gutierrez. Andy Giovengo earned an All-Star Cast award for his work in “The Odyssey”.
In the Individual Events competition, Adrianna Aponte and Angela Picarella earned second place in the duet acting category for their performance of a scene from Shakepeare’s “Twelfth Night”. Dane Crosby placed third for his costume design renderings.
