The Picayune Police Department responded to a call in reference to indecent exposure, which resulted in the arrest of a Picayune man, said Jeremy Magri, assistant to the chief.
“On Feb 8 at 7:11 p.m., officers were dispatched to Wal-Mart in reference to indecent exposure,” Magri said. “Upon arrival, officers spoke with a complainant who stated that he and his wife were loading groceries into their vehicle in the parking lot, when he turned around and observed a maroon Chevrolet Silverado that was occupied by a male subject later identified as 43-year-old Timothy Jackson, a resident of 798 Caesar Rd. in Picayune, stopped behind his vehicle. At this time the vehicle sped away.”
The complainant advised Jackson was engaged in self-gratification in the vehicle, Magri said.
“Officers patrolled the area for the vehicle, when they learned that Jackson was in Walgreen’s parking lot, on 43 South where original the complainant had located him,” Magri said. “The complainant stated that upon arrival he had observed Jackson engaged in self-gratification at that location as well.”
At this time officers were able to take Jackson into custody for indecent exposure and he was transported to the Criminal Justice Center where he was booked on the charge, Magri said.
