Paul Lamar Pullens

Paul Lamar Pullens, 52, of Picayune, Miss., passed away on December 23, 2013, in Franklin, Ga. He was an active member of Community Christian Church in Sharpsburg, Ga., where he served as an Usher and Greeter. He was of the Christian Faith.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on January 4, 2014, at 1 p.m. Bro. Ronald Bear of Faith Chapel Church of God will be officiating. The service will be at Faith Chapel Church of God, located at 61 Pullens Rd., Carriere, MS. 39426.
Paul was born in Picayune, Miss., on July 13, 1961. He attended Pearl River Central High School.
Before retirement, Paul worked as a Security Officer in Chalmette, La. For 10 years. He also worked as a deckhand offshore and as a Brick Mason laborer. Paul enjoyed fishing, making others laugh and singing at the top of his lungs for Jesus. Paul had also been involved in Divine Intervention Life Recovery Program where he enjoyed packing and delivering food boxes for families in need , before relocated to Franklin, Ga.
Paul was preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie Fox Pullens, and father, Robert Lavelle Pullens., Sr.
Paul is survived by: two daughters, Tonya Pullens Givens of Carriere, Regina Allen McNair (Donald) of El Paso, Texas; two sisters, Faith Pullens Atwell of Waveland, Miss., and Juanita Pullens Kelly (Charles) of Saucier, Miss.; three brothers, Mark Anthony Pullens (Marcia) of Jackson, Miss., Robert (Bobby) Pullens (Royannis) of Poplarville, Miss., Stephen Ray Pullens of Waveland; six grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews, along with a host of family and friends.
