Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department Arrests Megan Leigh Boles on Exploitation Charges

On Tuesday, the Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department Investigators announced the arrest of Megan Leigh Boles on charges related to the exploitation of children.
Boles, whose age and place of residence were not disclosed by authorities, was taken into custody without incident at the Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department office.
According to the Sheriff’s Department, Boles faces charges under Title 97 – Crimes; Chapter 5 – Offenses Affecting Children; § 97-5-33 for exploitation of children.
All affected victims, their families, and guardians have been informed of the developments. Investigators have stated that they do not anticipate the discovery of any additional victims. However, they have assured that affected parties will be notified promptly if such a situation arises.
The Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department has refrained from releasing further details regarding the case.
