Poplarville resident dies in single vehicle collision in Stone County

On Monday, September 12, 2022, at approximately 12:20 pm, the Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a fatal crash on Highway 26 in Stone County. A 2015 Nissan Altima driven by Delores Richardson, 50, of Poplarville, MS, was traveling West on Highway 26. The vehicle left the road and collided with several trees. Delores Richardson received fatal injuries from the crash.
