Children in the Picayune area will have an opportunity to receive fresh fruit and fun items during a two hour event at Picayune’s Early Head Start.
Neterior McCormick, Picayune Early Head Start’s health, safety and nutrition manager, said that the event will be held at the Rosa Street Campus of Early Head Start on June 11, from noon to 2 p.m. Fresh fruit, books and hands-on activities will be provided on a first come, first serve basis, she said.
This program is being funded by Molina Health Care of Mississippi.
