On Thursday, June 4, and Friday, June 5, the Pearl River County National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) will be providing free N-95 masks and surgical masks to the community in Poplarville and Picayune.

The NAACP will be at Triumph Baptist Church in Poplarville from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Thursday handing out masks.

The organization will also be at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Picayune from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Friday handing out masks.

President of the Pearl River County NAACP, Jimmy Richardson, said between Poplarville and Picayune, the organization will be handing out around 1,500 masks. He said the masks are free to the general public.
