Funeral Services for George “Eddie” Knight, age 59, of Picayune, MS, who passed away Thursday, November 28, 2019, will be held Tuesday, December 3, 2019, at 8:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 3, 2019 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home.

Arrangements are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Bro. Scott Downes will officiate the service.

A native of Picayune, MS, he was a self employed Custom Cabinet Builder for Knight Builders and a member of the Baptist faith. Eddie loved to fish, being on the river, and being with his children and grandchildren. He was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Knight and Hattie Yvonne Jones Knight; and his sister, Cindy Knight.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted daughter, Amanda (Brandon) Vedros; his son, Jacob Edward Knight; 5 grandchildren, Dawson, Peyton, Rowan, and Trenton Vedros, and Brody Serpas; the mother of his children, Becky Knight; his sister and brother, Nina (Michael) Barron, and Henry “Bunk” Knight; and numerous nieces and nephews.
