Funeral services will be held for Ronnie Lindsey on Saturday, April 20, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at New Hebron Baptist Church, 111 Byrd Street, Carriere, MS.  Reverend K. Martin Thomas, Jr. is the Pastor and Rev. R. Deflanders will be the officiant.

Ronnie was born July 11, 1956 to John H. Lindsey, Sr. and the late Christer Bell Lindsey in Picayune, MS.  He accepted Christ at an early age. He attended Pearl River Central High School and graduated from Job Corps where he received a certificate in Culinary to work on ships. He worked as a brick laborer for contractors in Carriere, MS.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Brother Ronnie Lindsey departed this life graciously on Saturday, April 13, 2019, at Highland Community Hospital.

He is preceded in death by his loving mother, Christer Bell Lindsey and brother, Donnie Ray Lindsey.

Ronnie leaves to cherish many memories; his father, John H. Lindsey, Sr. of D’lo, MS; brother, John H. (Yolanda) Lindsey of Picayune; three uncles, J.W. Lindsey, Lovell (Francenell) Lindsey, both of D’lo, and Neil (Anne) Lindsey of Las Vegas, NV; two aunts, Mollie Jackson of Carriere and Leona Rochel of Berkley, CA; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be one hour prior to service.  Interment will be in the New Hebron Cemetery.
