Funeral Services for William “Big Boy” T. Herrin, age 92, of Picayune, MS, who passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2019, will be held Friday, February 1, 2019, at 10:00 am at Roseland Park Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Friday, February 1, 2019 from 8:00 am until 10:00 am at Roseland Park Baptist Church.
Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Rev. Dan Young will officiate the service.
A native of Pearl River County, MS, he was a retired Paint Contractor and a member of Roseland Park Baptist Church. Big Boy was a Shriner, Mason, and a member of The Carpenter’s Union, New Orleans, LA. He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, D.W. “Doc” Herrin and Mary E. Smith Herrin; his loving wife of 67 years, Annie Ruth Herrin; his grandson, Jason McNeil; his sister, Beulah Herrin Chiasson; and his brothers, Robert Herrin, Wallace C. Herrin, Lucious L. Herrin, Oscar “Runt” E. Herrin, and his twin brother, Rubin “Little Bit” Herrin.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Lorraine Herrin (James) Westbrook, Elaine Herrin (Mike) McNeil, William “Bill” (Pam) Herrin, Jr., Terry Wayne (Pam) Herrin, Michael Ray (Kerri) Herrin, and David Stewart Herrin; 12 grandchildren, Sam (Mark) Hancock, Will (Kelli) Herrin, Michael (Brooke) Westbrook, Ashley Westbrook, Shannon (Richard) Wormser, Brandon Herrin, Amy (Adam) Von Antz, Raygan Herrin, Taylor Herrin, Krystal (Kevin Berges) Herrin, Cherrie (Robbie) Penton, and Brandi (Chris) Smith; 15 great grandchildren; his sister-in-law, Myra (John) Burch; his brothers-in-laws, Bruce (Ann) Kelley and Billy Barrett; and numerous nieces and nephews.
