Funeral Services for Joseph  Charles “J.C.”  Simon, III, age 62, of Carriere, MS, who passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2018, will be held Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at 11:00 am at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 25, 2018 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home, also on Wednesday, September 26, 2018, from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at McDonald Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Fleet L. Haley Cemetery, Franklinton, LA under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Rev. Randall Childs will officiate the service.

A native of New Orleans, LA, he was a Heavy Equipment Operator for NASA in New Orleans East. J.C. was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.

He was an exceptional and loving son, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Charles Simon, Jr.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Laura Galle Simon; his son, David (Monica) Simon; his mother, Muriel Mary Husson Simon; his six grandchildren, Michael Simon, Jackson Parr, Travis (Rachel) Wieneke, Andrea (Evan) Wieneke, Landen Clingan, and Cayden Simon; his brother, Ricky (Barbara) Simon; his sister, Linda (Big Johnny) Levert; his five nieces and nephews, John (Michelle) Levert, Jr., Lisa Levert, Shelly Levert, Whitney (Colin) O’Brien, and Ricky Simon; several great nieces and nephews; and great great nieces and nephews.
