Funeral Services for Thomas “Tommy” Earl Hughes, age 69, of Carriere, MS, who passed away Thursday, July 26, 2018, will be held Sunday, July 29, 2018, at 2:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 29, 2018 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home.
Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
A native of Epps, LA, he was a retired Salesman for the Nitrogen Services and a member of the Baptist Faith. Tommy was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Cecil Hughes and Lavada Lee Tarver Hughes; and his wife, Marilyn Hughes.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Tamera Annette (Silverio) Rodriguez; 3 grandchildren, Gage Michael (Samantha) Rodriguez, Hannah Renee Rodriguez, and Mia Kate Rodriguez; his brothers, Jim (Barbara) Hughes, Willie (Patricia) Hughes, and Mike Hughes; his sisters, Kay Hughes and Joannie (Matthew) Hughes; numerous nieces and nephews; and friends.
