The Rotary Club of Picayune hosted its annual special needs fishing rodeo Tuesday at Paternostro Pond, continuing a tradition that has spanned nearly 30 years.

The Pearl River County Youth Bass Assassins fishing team prepared all of the fishing poles and assisted students with baiting hooks and casting lines.
Sausage dogs and hamburgers were donated and cooked by Consolidated Aggregates, a division of Turley International, which also provided paper products.
Rotarians, student family members, and Coca-Cola contributed beverage donations. The Rotary Club expressed appreciation for all community partners who helped make the rodeo possible.
Pearl River County Sheriff David Allison distributed awards to students and community volunteers during the event.
