Authorities are searching for Johnny Rankin Morris and Hailey Diane Cole, who are wanted in Colorado for questioning in connection to a homicide and missing persons case. Early this morning, Dec. 28, around 2:30 a.m., the missing person’s truck—a 1994 Ford F-250 pickup—was found abandoned in a parking lot in the 2700 block of Oak Grove Road near the intersection with Weathersby Road in Hattiesburg.

Surveillance footage shows the suspects walking eastward from the area toward Hattiesburg. Investigators believe Morris and Cole may be approaching Pearl River County. Law enforcement officials are urging the public not to approach armed and dangerous individuals.

Morris, 46, is described as a white male, 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing approximately 150 pounds. He has short brown and gray hair and blue eyes. His right ear has an unknown tattoo. At the time of his last sighting, Morris was wearing blue jeans and a dark-colored short-sleeve T-shirt.
