The Maroon Tide bounced back from last week’s loss with a decisive 35-0 win over Northshore on Friday night. Triston Cooper led the team with three touchdowns on four carries, totaling 47 yards, while Darrell Smith added two touchdowns on 22 carries for 230 yards.

The game began with a rocky start for both teams, as turnovers occurred on consecutive plays. However, once the Maroon Tide settled in, they delivered a dominant performance, controlling the game on both sides.

“We still haven’t played our best football yet,” said Coach Stogner after the game. “We have a lot of things we can clean up, and the good thing is we can fix them. We talk about controlling our controllables, and that’s what we must do.”
