Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 18, 2024 at Noon with visitation from
11:00 a.m. until service time at The Greater Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, 501 Weems
Street, Picayune, MS 39466. Rev. Edward Stubbs. Pastor of New Galilee Baptist
Church will be the Eulogist and Rev. Wyman Gauldin is Pastor.
On July 20, 1955, Leon and Bennie Lou Stubbs were blessed with a son, and named
him Larry Jerome Stubbs.
He was a faithful member of New Galilee Baptist Church until his health declined. He
was also an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan, and most of all he was an awesome family
man.
On Wednesday, January 10, 2024, Larry gained his wings for his heavenly home.
Larry leaves to cherish his loving and kind memories to his wife. Patricia Stubbs of 42
years; 5 children;13 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 7 sisters; 2 brothers; nieces,
nephews, other relatives and friends.
Interment will be in the New Palestine Cemetery. Entrusted to Brown’s Funeral Home
