Private Graveside Memorial Services will be held for Iran Quinton Smith, age 84, of Brandon, MS, formerly of Picayune, MS, who passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2020.
Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Rev. Allen Hickman will officiate the service.

A native of Kosciusko, MS, he owned and operated Haller Furniture Company in Picayune, MS. Quinton was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, sports, especially the New Orleans Saints, and spending time with his family. Quinton was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ivory Barney Smith and Leona Miller Smith Hannon; the mother of his children, Virginia Smith; his son, James “Jamie” Wallace; his brother, Ivory Vernon Smith; and his sister, Louise Kettle.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted wife, Sylvia Frierson Smith; his children, Suzanne Doucette, Sabrina Smith Morgan, and Tina (Mickey) Gay; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and his nephew, I.V. (Vivian) Smith, Jr.
