Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 1 pm at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church for Jessie Ray Magee, 59, who transitioned from this life on Friday, November 1, 2019 at his home in Picayune, MS surrounded by family and friends. Pastor Donald Parker will officiate at the service.
Jessie Ray Magee was born on May 30, 1960 in Picayune, MS to Mrs. Leola M. Coleman.
He was baptized at an early age at Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend Dr. E. L. Fox where he remained until his death.
He attended Picayune Memorial High School. After graduation he enlisted in the United States Army where he served his country.
Jessie Ray leaves to cherish his precious memories, his dedicated and loving mother, Mrs. Leola Coleman and his stepfather, Mr. Manuel Coleman Sr.; one sister, Lyiouse M. Magee; two brothers, Clay Youngblood and Patrick McCree Sr.; a special aunt, Telester Osbin; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Hollis and Alice Stewart, sister, Patrice McCree; and nephew, Patrick McCree Jr.
Visitation will be one hour prior to service time. Interment will be in the Picayune Cemetery.
