Graveside Funeral Services for Jacquelyn Starr Stockstill, age 70, of Carriere, MS, who passed away Thursday, October 31, 2019, will be held Monday, November 4, 2019, at 1:00 pm at New Palestine Cemetery.

Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Bro. Jacob Gill will officiate the service.

A native of Picayune, MS, she graduated with an Associate Degree in Nursing from PRCC in 1989. Jacquelyn was a retired Registered Nurse and a member of Goodyear Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, shopping, and her family. Jacquelyn was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack Burtis and Lillian Henrietta and Wade Welborn; and her son, Bartlett “Jamie” Jameson Stockstill.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving and devoted husband of 53 years, Homer Ray Stockstill; her children, Shane (Tonya) Stockstill, and Sabrina (Ruben) Sanderson; 6 grandchildren, Seth Stockstill, Sarah Stockstill, Madison Stockstill, Brunson Stockstill, Miranda Sanderson, and Summer Sanderson; her sister, Natalie Welborn Tate; her brother-in-law, Joseph P. (Gloria) Stockstill; and her nieces and nephews, Sammy (Christine) Stockstill, Stephanie (Kenny) Biechler, Orietta Stockstill, Joe Stockstill, Amee (Will) McClendon, Christina (Jesse) Diaz, and Noah (Raquel) Turner; and her lifelong cousin and friend, Rodney Lowe.
