Bobbie Fae Skinner Bell

Bobbie Fae Skinner Bell, age 93, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2019, at Oxford Health and Rehabilitation Center in Oxford. She was born November 18, 1925, to Robert Skinner and Hazel Florence Kilcrease Skinner. Bobbie was retired from the Mississippi State Highway Department, where she enjoyed working as a secretary for 22 years.
She lived in Picayune, Mississippi for many years and enjoyed teaching Sunday school and studying the Bible with her family. Bobbie was a member of the First Baptist Church in Marietta, Georgia. She enjoyed playing bridge and baking for her family.
Bobbie had a unique sense of humor and often quoted, “God gave everybody one talent”.
Services were held 11:00 am, Monday, March 4, 2019, at Browning Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Webster officiating. Burial will be on Saturday, March 16, 2019, in Gilford Memorial Park in Greensboro, North Carolina. Browning Funeral Home in Pontotoc is assisting the family with the arrangements. Survivors include her two daughters, Beverly Maddox of Marietta, Georgia and Nancy Nesbit (Mike) of Ecru, Mississippi; one sister, Pat Suber (Don) Hattiesburg, Mississippi; and two grandchildren, Kimberly Maddox of Greensboro, North Carolina and Ben Nesbit (Judy Lynn) of Oxford, Mississippi.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, James Curtis Bell. Visitation will be Monday from 10 to 11 am at the funeral home.
