Funeral Services for Evelyn Emeline Reese, age 83, of Picayune, MS, who passed away Friday, January 4, 2019, will be held Friday, January 11, 2019, at 3:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Friday, January 11, 2019 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home.

Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

A native of Picayune, MS, she was a retired Clerk Typist and a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. Evelyn was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Morris Newton Lumpkin and Oneita Spiers Lumpkin; her daughter, Jo Ann Watkins; her sister, Lydia Davis; and her brothers, William Thomas Lumpkin, Rufus Leroy Lumpkin, Fred Elliott Lumpkin, and Jim Boye Lumpkin.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving and devoted son, David Reese and daughter-in-law, Stacey Holbrook; 4 grandchildren, Amanda Garrison, Daryck A. Reese, Alia Reese, and Jordan Watkins; and numerous nieces and nephews.
